Symphonic Instrument 2 introduced at NAMM

Post by FutureLegends »

Here's Jim Cooper talking about it:

Sounds really promising.
Right now I'm using EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, and love the sound of that. But it's a bit heavy on the CPU. If SI2 is easier on the machine, I could see that as a composing tool.

Anyone saw the demo at NAMM?

Still no updates on features, instruments, availability? I'm guessing it will at least be different samples from MSI 1, and different and/or more than what is in MachFive (latest version).

As seen in the latest Sweetwater print catalog...
Might be best to right click on the image, then select Open Image in New Window.

Thank you for the Sweetwater image! Hope to see the upgrade before too long. Then maybe an MX4 upgrade would be nice shortly afterward...

Interesting that the ad appears in the catalog but not yet on MOTU's website. I think one of the videos mentioned something about the second quarter which means right about now. :woohoo:

A MX4 64 would also be nice.

Cheers
