Hello, I am frustrated to death with Unisyn. I have tried it on the Proteus 2000. Proteus Virtuoso, Proteus 2xr, Alesis QSR, Alesis SR4 and it bugs out. The MIDI request for patches do not work. The Proteus 2000 times out.
I own a new MAc Pro Nahalem with 32gb ram and 5 1.5TB drives. Is there another company that makes a patch editor that works? and was last updated before 2003?
I love MOTU but they are lazy and could easy make some new MIDI profiles for the new instruments. The MIDI request code is in the back of every manual.

Has anyone made any custom profiles they want to share?
1. Roland Fantom XR
2. Yamaha Motif XS Rack
3. Kurzweil PC2R
4. Alesis QSR
5. Alesis SR4
6. Korg Wavestation SR
7. Korg O3RW
8. Korg M3R
9. Korg Oasys
10. Kurzweil 1200Pro
11. Roland R8M
12.Yamaha 816 (That actually works)
13. Yamaha TG500
14. Roland JV2080
15. Proteus 2 XR
16. Proteus 3XR
17. EMu Procussion

I bought it and it crashes all the time, and I can only use 6 instruments that actually download properly.
Seems like someone must have made the profiles for some of these instruments.

If you have please post.
Also if you know how to get Unisyn to actually download the EMu Proteus 2000, and the EMu Proteus Virtuoso please let me know the secrets.

I am disappointed in the fact that it does not work correctly.
Kind Regards,
Barend
