Audio Assignments Columns Out Of Place

Post by wonder »

I just installed a second 2408mk3.

On the ADAT B1-2 column, its placed after the ADAT B3-4. Any way to change this?

Drag the one that's out of order up a line.

That's what the little arrows on the left are for.

I think he means the columns, not the rows.

It's strange that the interface outputs are coming in a messed up order in the columns, which are not movable.

Do the I/O showing there corresponds to the actual interface I/O? I ask because I know you can edit the NAMEs of the I/O channels and the way DP sees them. Did you change them recently in the interface's software? That could explain it.

Tascam DM-24, MOTU Track 16, all Spectrasonics' stuff,
Vienna Instruments SUPER PACKAGE, Waves Mercury, slaved iMac and Mac Minis running VEP 7, etc.

Sorry... I wasn't looking closely at the names of the columns. Indeed they are out of order. My rows get out of order all the time, of reasons of which I'm unaware. I haven't seen the columns get out of order. He might try reinstalling the driver. There's also a Channel Names page in the MOTU Audio Setup. That might help. Not sure; I'd have to try it to know.

I tried the "rename" page. No dice.

Sort of weird, this issue.
