You won't get MOTU's attention by posting that here.

Instead, I suggest you write directly to them via their Suggestions box in their site.
Mac Mini Server i7 2.66 GHs/16 GB RAM / OSX 10.14 / DP 9.52
Tascam DM-24, MOTU Track 16, all Spectrasonics' stuff,
Vienna Instruments SUPER PACKAGE, Waves Mercury, slaved iMac and Mac Minis running VEP 7, etc.

You think I'm angry? LOL Not at all. Just trying to keep the forum as intended. I take my moderator responsibilities seriously. No offense intended, BTW. Again, just trying to keep members aware of how the site was designed.

I noticed things got a little contentious in this thread. I deleted some of the messages that weren't really contributing. I have to say that this is a bit of a grey area. It is a criticism of DP that's focused on actual "functionality" and that's okay here. What is not okay here is criticism when it strays from a dispassionate discussion of the actual operation of DP and either starts out as, or devolves into, a discussion of MOTU itself. For example "Why does MOTU still not have XYZ feature already?!!" That just becomes a gripe about the company and its development strategy, etc. "I would really like it if the icons for note velocity were larger," on the other hand, is a very non-emotional, specific criticism of the app and that's fine.

As pointed out however, it may be useful to do a search and see if this topic has come up, because it's the general consensus around here that simply piling on or bringing up the same criticism over and over doesn't really help get that feature implemented any sooner. :)
