Quickscribe cursor in DP 9.13

Hi, I'm evaluate the demo version of DP 9.13 and I have some problems in Quickscribe, when I try to move cursor up and down with arrow key of my qwerty keyboard. The cursor does not move! Have someone the same problem?

I am finding the same problem when evaluating DP 9.52.

The keyboard up-arrow and down-arrow keys should alter the pitch of the insertion cursor, but are currently unresponsive. I have setting different keyboard shortcuts but with no response.

This function was working fine in DP 7.24 when I last tried it.

And now it is also the same in 10.00 and 10.01. I just looks like the key-listener function for the quickscribe cursor has been disconnected - inadvertently, one would hope - and never reinstated; if so would be an easy fix.

I see that they have those commands assigned in the Commands window.

On my rig (mac 10.11.6, DP 9.52), moving the insertion point left/right works, but up/down does not work.

This cursor now appears to be behaving correctly as of 10.1.83521 !!!

Thanks for the fix - and hope it was deliberate. I didn't see any mention in the list of fixed issues but it may have been part of some other changes.

I filed a technote report on this for 10.01. It is in the release notes for 10.1, so it's an official fix:

Fixed an issue where the commands to move the QuickScribe insertion cursor up and down would not function

That's nice to hear. It's a very old bug (perhaps older than this 2017 thread). Glad to hear it finally got squashed.
