Hi all. For most of my time with DP, I accepted that a new take on a track had the the same automation as the previous. Any change in automation in any take would effect all the others. Bloody irritating.
Then, recently, in a different project... I noticed that each new take could have different automation... brilliant! But I cannot see what has changed.
If you guys could help, it would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

Some tracks allow new automation with a new take, some not..

I've sorted it out. If mix mode is on, the same automation applies across all takes. With mix mode off, you get different automation on each take.
