CueMix FX always causing issues ...

I teach at a University and we have a number of 828x's set up as well as some other MOTU interfaces. People use Digital Performer, Logic, and Pro Tools at various times. Is there a generic setting for CueMix FX in which it does nothing but bypass the signals into to and from the DAWs? If not, can I just delete CueMix FX? It is mostly unused and all it seems to do is cause confusion. Thanks.

You do not need it unless you are recording and need headphone mixes with no latency.

Since I'm still on 9.01, my ONLY use for CueMix is to send to an outboard hardware Lexicon 'verb.

Even that simple task fails at times and I have to try and reset to get the channel sends and returns working correctly.

It is NOT intuitive!

I love CueMIx and find it works perfectly for me in setting up monitor mixes on my (older) 828mkII, but can confirm. as apanacci notes, CueMix is not used in routing audio to/from DAWs.

So is there anything special one has to do to delete it? There is no un-install program from MOTU. Thanks again.

Put it in the trash. Don,t delete and see what happens
