Disable audio recording when selecting a MIDI track

Post by thegeetarist »

Hey everyone,

Anyone know off hand a way to disable having 2 tracks record enabled? this maybe a noob question, but it's been something I've been trying to figure out for a little while now.

Thx,

LT

Well, this is a newbie's answer, but... deselect Multi-Record from the Studio menu?

I'm not in front of my studio Mac right now but under one of the menu items is the option to enable or disable multi record.

When enabling your MIDI track for record, alt-click that MIDI track's record enable icon instead of simply clicking it. As well as arming your MIDI track, this will deselect record-enabling on any/all other tracks which are already record-enabled.
