How to organize plugins by manufacturer?

Post by David Polich »

I need some help, o fellow Motunationals..

I used to click on a track insert to instantiate a
plugin and I'd get a window with the manufacturers
listed on the left..clicking on a manufacturers name
would then give me that vendor's plugins listed
on the right.

I say used to because for some reason, I now no
longer see the manufacturers listed on the left
when I open the plugin select window. I just see
one big list of every plugin I have, with the vendor's
name to the right of each plugin name.

How do I get back my window showing vendors
names on the left?

Many thanks in advance..

That's very strange. Try right clicking on the insert slot when you want to instantiate a plug.

Thanks, James. Yeah I know its weird, I've
tried everything I can think of..including right-
clicking as you suggested. Just cannot
get the list of vendors to appear.

Wow. I'm stumped. Unable to get in front of my studio machine right now to investigate further. :(

Nothing like that.

Maybe I should re-install. I'll give that a go.

Yeah it sounds like corruption or at least corrupted prefs.
