So I've been dealing with an annoying issue recently... I'm using DP 9.1 with a MOTU 1248 audio interface on Mac OS 10.10.5. Sometimes when I'm running a DP session I'll go to play audio off of my desktop (with preview), or through spotify, or safari, or anything outside of DP - and the 1248 hardware driver will crash.
Super annoying! Especially since it only SOMETIMES happens. I've been silently dealing with this issue since I got the 1248 over a year ago, hoping that an update would fix it... But I've noticed the problem has been getting progressively worse. I'm not sure if this is a DP issue or a 1248 issue, but I will say that this was NEVER a problem in the 8 years I used the ROCK SOLID 828 mkII.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? Could this possibly be a routing issue?
Thanks!
Tom
