strange alert

Post by stringtheory »

i have one particular project that gets this very odd alert when i open it. it only happens the first time i open the project after any kind of quit or restart of dp. i can dismiss the alerts and everything works fine. the project was created on a laptop with uad twin, and now is being edited/mixed on my main system, iMac with uad apollo. since nothing actually crashes or becomes unstable or unusable, it's not really a problem, but i thought it was odd enough to be worth posting. will send to motu.

Just to throw this up as a potential fix:

You could try starting a new project and importing all the chunks from this project into the new one. Just to see of the project file might have some minor corruption.
M1 MBP; OS 12, FF800, DP 11.3, Kontakt 7, Reaktor 6, PC3K7, K2661S, iPad6, Godin XTSA, Two Ibanez 5 string basses (1 fretted, 1 fretless), FM3, SY-1000, etc.

First thing to try.

This is an OS alert, not a DP error. Something is trying to load that can't. You can usually open Consoe.app to see what it is. Try the above suggestion first.

thanks, i'll try importing or loading - clearly the first thing to try. also thanks for the reminder it's a system warning, clear from the window attributes...will report back on results. although it's not causing any obvious immediate trouble, it would be better to clear it from happening at all, of course.
