Start up disk full message. DP paused. Now not working

Hi all.

I have just had DP come up with the message "Start up disk full, DP paused".
It asked me if I wanted to force quit. I had no choice anyway as it had frozen.
I force quit DP and then cleared space on my start up disk.
Upon re-opening DP, the audio engine was not on.
Just playing a song in itunes also won't make any sound.

I opened a new DP file and was able to record audio, but even though the out buss shows output, there is no output on my Lynx Aurora. There is also no output if I choose "inbuilt speakers" on the mac.

Also, the audio files have all changed their appearance and color.


Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ok. I have more information.
It is multiple problems. Firstly, the Aurora converter had corrupted, so I have re-initialised that.
But secondly, about 14 busses have italicised/greyed out. So they won't pass audio.

So, how do I make the busses recognised and "real" again?

One more thing, the "audio monitor" has dissappeared. I know to make it show you have to "un check" it somewhere but I can't remember where.

Fair call on the info. I will have a look at a signature.
I have resolved the problem though. The start up disk filling and DP putting itself on pause caused all settings to return to default mode. So the stereo buss amount went to 33. Hence, a majority of my busses had no output.
