Check for Kontakt updates? Repair permissions? Redownload? There were two versions released. Have the latest?

I repeated your steps and everything was fine. I know that doesn't help much, but there it is. Did it work with 9.01?

That's frustrating. Maybe you've come across a conflict between 9.0x and 8.07? You've done all the usual things. Could try deleting all the DP preference files you can find and then restart 8.07. Or copy preferences for 8.07 from the other volume.

my thinking, as well. but it seems like someone else would've noticed it by now?

Not if it's 9.02 that created the conflict.

Not sure this has anything to do with your crashes but I'm in LA working on an early 08 MP 2.66 with version 7 and if I save while my session is playing, it looses the USB dongles and Autotune crashes the computer. Maybe your session is taxing the CPU in some way. At home my 09 machine with 8 runs fine and that never happens. Would DP 9 require more overhead and thus more computer? Just a thought. .. Anyway, back to it. Cheers, GB

MOTU released a second version of 9.02 this week... 9.02 69167 to correct video player. However, when I updated to the newer version, it would delay in saving and the ball of the death would show up temporarily. I might go back to 69119.
