DP 9 & Avid Artist Mix

Hi

I've used DP 8.07 and the Artist Mix (EuControl v 2.7.1) on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.7.5) successfully for years.

After updating to DP 9, it continued to work. But recently, it just connects to DP 9 but fails to control any DP parameters like faders & knobs.

When I upgraded to DP 9.01, it didn't connect at all.

But when I go back to DP 8.07, it works perfectly.

I tried trashing the DP & EuCon preferences. I even reinstalled the EuControl software and DP 9 software.

It's all been to no avail. :deadhorse:

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried it. Latest firmware and drivers. Works well.

Thanks but I tried EuCon v 3.01, their latest for OS 10.7, and it wouldn't connect at all in either DP 8 or DP 9. So I went down to v 2.7.1 and it works in DP 8 but not in DP 9.

Which Eucon driver do you use and what is your Mac OS?

Perhaps…

Do you use DP 9 or DP 9.01? Your description states DP 8.

9.01 doesn't work at all with the Avid console in OS 10.7.5.

Well…good news!

With the generous help from Brian at MOTU Tech, we were able to get DP 9.0 to work successfully with the Avid Artist Mix!

But the downside is DP 8.07 can not use it as well. Apparently, MOTU has changed the directory for the EuCon bundle in DP 9 rendering the Avid Artist Mix inaccessible in DP 8.

Well the small price you pay for an upgrade!

Hi
I know your thread is old, but I don't find any help to my problem, which is slightly different from yours.
MEters are not shown on my artis mix, and I feel that the implementation is bad on DP (it does work well on Logic Pro for instance).
I work with an Imac 2015, Sierra 10.12.4, and DP9 (9.13 or 9.5)
Could you help?
