DP 8 doesn't see Waves 9 ??

DP 8 doesn't see Waves 9 ??
I dragged all my waves 9 plugins into DP 8 /Library/plug ins/ MAS and the waves shell and DP is not seeing them in the mixer/insert . I do see them in prefs / plug ins window?? help! thanks!!

Lots of variables here, but assuming you've got it all selected properly in Preferences, maybe you need to reinstall Waves. Start by going to your Waves account and following their directions. Waves can be very unforgiving in its installation/copy protection methodology.
It should work fine. I use Waves daily in DP9, and used it similarly in DP8 without incident.

what are the prefs supposed to be set at? Enable All / Audio Units checked...anything else .....?

The plugs don't go in that folder. They live in your Applications folder. Instead of dragging, try throwing all that away and re-installing from the Waves installer.
