DP9 MIDI Automation On in Mixer

Post by rikp »

I have a very large orchestral template and for whatever reason the automation buttons are all activated on my VI MIDI tracks. I have tried turning them all off manually, then saving as a template, but when I launch a new project from the template they are activated again. This is driving me crazy. I don't want automation on in the MIDI tracks.

Any ideas???

I agree, there is a problem, as you hopefully saw in my original thread.

Does it work for MIDI tracks, too?

This is still a problem for me. I have gone back to DP8. Is anyone addressing this? The only way that I can bypass this is to go through all of my VI/MIDI tracks and deselect the MIDI automation. If I do that and re-save it as a template all the MIDI automation is back! I have notified MOTU and they agree there is a problem. Anyone have a workaround???

Thanks!
