Nope, crashing DP as soon as I click on anything in the GUI. Good catch. I was not using "float" mode, but was having many crashes until I resolved the font issue. Looks like there are many things at play here.

Did they work in "float" mode as well?
They do for me.

The only 32 Lives assisted plug I have that crashes when the effect window is set to float is DrumCore 3 when I access the pop up menu for loading various kits.

Apparently, it depends on the plugin. Hopefully, this will be fixed soon. I have a couple of VIs to try. I'll report when I check them out.

Like I said earlier mono plugins seem to work even in float mode~

Hopefully, although I have a feeling this ball is squarely in Sound Radix's court. I can't see a DAW manufacturing going out of their way to address an issue that only occurs using technically "obsolete" plugs via 32 bit to 64 bit bridging software. As evidenced by the complaints on the board about bugs that are clearly in MOTU's domain, I doubt they'll get to that anytime soon. Actually best thing to do would be to report to Sound Radix. I think they may actually have a copy of DP for testing if I remember an email exchange I had with them correctly.

Pardon my ignorance, guys - where does one disable/enable floating windows in DP9?

Globally: Preferences>Audio Plugins>Plugin windows float by default.
Individually or globally: Plugin's mini menu.

Well, as I indicated in another post...I can confirm that at least on my system, 32 Lives-wrapped
plugs and VI's are NOT working.

Yes they will launch - but if you try to move anything on any of these plugs or VI's' interfaces - DP9 crashes immediately. Every single wrapped plug or VI I've tried does this.

I've sent a support ticket to Soundradix...I think this is something they have to figure out.

It's going to be difficult because it's not happening to me or many other people. You did make sure the effects window was not set to "float" of course. Seriously, I made a post the other day where I listed all the 32-bit plugs that are working in latest DP just fine... as in all of the ones I have. No crashing. Only issue is DrumCore 3 when in "floating" effects window.

As for me, all my 32bit plugins are now working with 32Lives after I turned "float" mode OFF~

I replied in the other thread about this - I had forgotten to turn off float for those windows.

Soundradix replied to a support ticket I sent and said they are aware of the DP9 crash
problem and are working on a fix right now.

With no float, 32 is working.
With float, it crashes DP9 on several plugs and VIs.
Happy to hear that Soundradix is on the case.
