Minor issue please advise
DP owner serial # used to be printed on the manual but in 8 I don't see it in the book on mine. Trying to help Xavier Calvera, (a motunation member) who also bought 8 and is trying to load DP in his new laptop. I just forgot is all and could not help him. Should I have him call MOTU Monday? Thanks. GB

I recall that they sent it to me in an email, but you should also find it on the website under My Account>My Registrations.

I took a marker and wrote mine in large characters on the outside of the box. Nuts to hunting for the serial#.
Remember that, when activating your copy, the spelling of name and email address must match what is on file at MOTU. This has tripped up a few of us in the past. Oh, you must use dashes, not minus signs from the numeric key pad in the serial number (really? still?).

That's the key-code. That changes from version to version. The serial number was given you the first time you bought DP, and it never changes as long as you own it. I own two copies of DP, so I have two serial numbers that I update alternately.cleamon wrote:Mmm. The best place to find your serial number, if you don't have it written down somewhere, is at MOTU's site. You have to be a member, of course, to log in. But it will have a record of all your MOTU purchases, their serial numbers, etc.
