Cool Pro Tools meter

Post by cbergm7210 »

Watching this Slate video I noticed an additional meter on each channel that reflected the compressor GR. Very helpful in looking at an overall mix. Perhaps could be a future DP addition.

Those gain reduction meters are in the expensive ProTools HD only not the less expensive PT non-HD. PT has different levels of the same program. PT user here.

No dude. My claim to fame is that I helped you with some song lyrics once. The one that mentioned a horse, a field or a maiden or something, IIRC?

I'll keep all twenty fingers crossed for your ear, mate...

Hope they got it all. From one cancer survivor to another - stay strong through this and keep up the music as that's what helped pull me through.

They did another Biopsy Friday but I'm not worried. The Colonoscopy they are doing Tuesday bothers me more. First fast day today and I'm damn hungry. Thanks for the thoughts Jack.

I'm a Fungi follower. Look up Paul Stamets at Fungi.com (http://www.fungi.com/about-paul-stamets.html) and read about his discoveries. Were on the precipice of major discoveries that can improve the immune sys so greatly it can cure cancer right now, as he did with his mother. Fantastic time to be alive actually. ...and yes, music helps! Regards, GB :)
