Still having BTD MIDI timing errors. Any fixes?

Post by Timeline »

When I bounce to disk drums and other VIs do not sync. Using latest version of DP 8.
Plenty of buffers set. Any known workarounds? Freezes work fine. Trying to bounce entire mix of project when it errors. Also pops and clicks. Mainly MIDI.

Real-time mix down is your friend. Do you know how to do it?

I haven't used bounce-to-disk in six years.

Oh sure. Thats how I mix but for reference mixes I need BTD.

I use an Alesis ML box to capture but have to cut a disk to make the mp4s on my desktop to send out. So... It is broken and there is no workaround? I hope they offer at least one more update and fix this before they ask for dough for DP9. I have offered many cool and needed enhancements and requested fixes which I would like to see in 9 but I bet they bypass many of the requests from users that are out there. So far what was announced at the show does not inspire me much. I want this to work completely first.

Is this a new issue with DP8, or have you seen this in previous versions? In DP7.24, my bounces (including MIDI) are sample-accurate. Does it happen consistently with all VIs, or just certain ones?

Your right. 7 works great but not 8
