cant adjust input values in mac yosemite

Post by ermac4482 »

my friend adjusted his input values
in his utilities in Mac Yosemite. Now his mk3 ultra lite won't let him adjust any input . The slider won't move . It does this on another computer as well , so by process
of elimination we know it's the soundcard.
we tried restoring the factory settings, drivers and rebooting , playing with menus etc , but no luck . Any idea , we are willing to try the same stuff . so if you know any good links to drivers , something g were missing please reply .

If there's a digital (SPDIF or light pipe) you're using, it probably won't let you adjust the levels. Just a random thought.

Where are the sliders you are trying to adjust? Are they by chance in Apple's Audio/MIDI Setup? That app was made in a generic sort of way, to cover all interfaces that might be plugged into a Mac. The sliders do not always specifically work with a given interface.

MOTU's CueMix would be the better choice, if it's available for that box.
