I recently upgraded from DP 7.24 and OS 10.6.8 to DP 8.07 and OS 10.10.1. All seems to be working well with one notable exception.
When I press the + button for the gain in the Trim plug in (and other plug ins), each mouse click changes the volume by 2 db instead of 1 db.
Is there a way to fix this?
(FYI - I do not have this problem when running DP 7.24 with OS 10.10.1)

Re: Trouble with mouse and DP 8.07
I had not noticed that, but it's doing it here, too.
When I first checked, I opened DP, added the Trim plugin to an existing track, and started clicking on the buttons. They incremented by one each time. I thought "no problems here." Then I went off looking at another problem I had just noticed, which took a while. When I came back, I tried it again, clicking on the buttons in Trim. This time it did it. It incremented by 2, 3, and sometimes even 4. Sometimes I could not get back to zero by clicking on the buttons, so I had to double-click the knob to reset it to zero.
Definitely a bug going on there.
Try it, folks. If you don't see it at first, leave the Trim plugin open for a while and come back to it, seeing if it happens at that point.
I'm running DP 8.07 and OS X 10.10.1, exactly like the OP. I tried it on three mice: the Apple Magic Trackpad, the Magic Mouse, and Logitech's Performance MX. Same deal on all of them.

Re: Trouble with mouse and DP 8.07
Thanks for your confirmation that's it's happening with you too. I have started a tech link with MOTU but so far all they suggested is clearing the preference folder (didn't work). I have repaired permissions but that also did not help. Hopefully they will fix it with DP 8.08 or whatever the next update of DP is. I will certainly let you know if MOTU or I come up with a fix in the meantime.

You might add a link to this thread in your tech link. Maybe others will join in and let us know if we're not the only ones.
