You're still running 2014c? Yikes! 2014d was released last December and fixed many issues.

I was told over a year ago that this was going to be one of the many fixes in Finale 2014d but I've not tested for this one. Perhaps MLC can weigh in.

Because of the incompatibilities among Finale, DP and Dragon Dictation, I always reboot before and after using any of the three apps. I also reboot daily because of certain quirks in SalesForce, required for my day job (rebooting is no longer a time consuming PIA thanks to using an SSD as my boot drive).

How about that! In Finale, the "automatically check for updates" was unchecked, so I didn't know about the newest Finale. I'm updating it as we speak. But I still will never run the two programs at the same time in the future.

If you start F first and change the sample rate then you can run DP at 48. No need to avoid both at once if you need that.
