MIDI data and Audio waveforms not displaying after update

Post by jmspeaks »

I recently updated to Mac Yosemite and also DP 8.07. Running a MacBookPro Duo core 2.53 Ghz with 8 MB ram. After the updates... I no longer see the MIDI data blocks or audio waveforms in either "sequence view" or "track view". The data is still there... plays back fine... but does not display. Clicking on a MIDI track and opening the "events list" shows no data in the track... but it plays back fine. Clicking on a soundbite does show a wave form in the "waveform editor"... but not in sequence or track view.

Is there a preference setting I am missing to display this data? Makes it tough to edit without a visual.

Thanks!

Now stop hitting cmd-f or, better yet, delete it from the commands window. Why MOTU did that is a mystery since that is the universal keystroke for search and find. Once the dialogue box is up you think you;re dismissing it, but you;ve actually set it to filter ALL data.
