DP and Yosemite 10.10? Don't do it yet!!

Audio clicks and samples dropping for the very same sessions I used in Mavericks. Plugins and the DP system do not play well together yet.

Reverted back to Mavericks

No problems here. You might want to check whether all of your plugins are OK in Yosemite. I had a couple of old plugins that caused some problems. Once these were removed, things were fine.

Working better than ever here.

There are a couple of minor issues that affect others and are found in the other threads on this subject but none of them are affecting me.

Working fine here as well. I did have to trash some old Waves stuff that was still kicking around. It was keeping Finale from launching. But as far as DP is concerned, it's all good. I've been using Yosemite on a test partition since it was released. I'm considering upgrading my main boot drive soon.

Some problems but not the same ones reported by the o/p. Working about 95% so far. Try repairing permissions!

I recently acquired an SSD. I've installed Yosemite and am now using it as my main boot drive. A few little glitches, but over all I'm very happy - working and playing well with DP 8.07. I think once we get to 10.10.2 or so, everything will be golden.

Think about this. If it ever reaches 10.10.10, they can call it XXX, but then only adults will be allowed to use it.

One post wonder, no specifics, just a generic 'sky is falling' post.

Fee-fi-fo-fum, methinks I smell a troll.

OP - have you got details or are you just stirring up FUD?
Cheers,
BK

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

I wouldn't necessarily assign nefarious intent here… we can look at the OP's message as a kind warning. IMHO, anyone who is willing to move to version 1.0 of any new software likes living on the edge. Unless there are features included that are essential to one's happy existence, productivity is best served by a measured approach to any software updates.

So says the guy still (happily) running Mountain Lion.

Anyone who takes advice from anonymous posters on ANY internet site... Well, y'all can finish that sentence. Oh wait, was that advice? It's ok, I'm not anonymous, just unknown. LOL

I and many others thank you for your bravery MLC. Keeps us CLOSE to the edge, in a slightly less precarious position!
