Parameter Error (-50).

Hi,

I work on DP 7.24
Macpro 2.1 Leopard X.5.8.

I backup my DP programs on another external Hard drive.
But when I open the DP program on the external HD and I make some modifications he dont want to save.
And he tel me:
"Macos Error.
Parameter error (-50) Try to save your file on another disk or folder or with a different name."

Please if anybody have an idea to solve my problem let me know.

It's possible that you don't have privileges. Does your User Admin account show up in Get Info on the project folder? If so, does it have Read and Write privileges?

DP is authorized on the internal drive it is installed on AFAIK. If you move the app to another drive you may well see errors.

You tell us. Is your external HD formatted correctly? Do you have Read and Write privileges to the entire drive?

We can't diagnose systems we can't see--only offer suggestions where you can look.

This is a common problem and easily solved.
