Re: Terrible VI Latency With Old DP Project

Post by David Polich »

I've had this same problem opening projects created originally in DP 5 and even a couple created originally in DP 7.24. Really bad VI latency, even with buffers cranked down to 64,
which normally gives me next to zero latency. Also, heavy CPU usage, even though these projects have fewer tracks. Projects created first in DP 8.x are just fine, I can run VI's at
a buffer of 256 and get almost no latency. Super weird.

I'll have to take a look at removing all plug-ins and then re-instantiating them for these
older projects.

Good to know it wasn't just me experiencing this.
