After updating to 8.07, all my preferences were gone which was pretty frustrating.
Anyone else had this, is there a way to restore them?

Yes, this happened to me in Mac OS 10.6.8
And brings up a good question: is there a way to backup all the preferences in your Digital Performer?
For highly configurable systems like DP I think it's really important to provide total recall.

Just copy that folder (Digital Performer) somewhere, and you'll have it.
You can't see the Library folder, normally, in the User Folder. To reach it, go to the GO menu in the Finder, and hold down the OPTION KEY. The Library Folder will appear in the list, and you can select it. If you want to keep the folder in your User Folder, make an alias of it. (COMMAND-L) Put the alias in you user folder. Or you can drag the folder's icon into your sidebar.
