I'm trying out the demo version of this plugin:
http://www.tcelectronic.com/lm2n-lm6n/
It causes DP 8.0.6 to eventually crash. While audio is playing back (1 stereo track) the whole computer system becomes frozen (including the seconds display on the menu bar clock) though the trackpad is responsive. Playback continues perfectly.
Sometimes DP will recover after the audio finishes normally. Other times I get the DP message about a plugin crashing.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on things to check. I'm liking this plugin already and really want it to work!
