Hi! I'm using DP 8.07, and I can't find the reverse plug in anywhere... Where do I find it? Also, can anyone recommend a good sample library for use with DP? I'm looking for both orchestral and industrial sounds. Thanks so much! : )

Reverse is not available as a realtime plugin, it is however still available as a "destructive" process. Open the soundbite window, double-click on the soundbite, select-all or select the portion you want to reverse, then go to the Audio menu and choose Apply Plugin. From there, you can find "Reverse" in the Manufacturer/MOTU list.

For Phase invert, you can choose the Trim plug-in, but the Phase invert is available in the Category/Utility.

If you aren't seeing them in those locations, post back here.

As stubbsonic has pointed out, both Reverse (audio runs backwards) and Invert (audio is 180* out of polarity) are available—as they have been since v.2 or 3? Invert is in a different place but his directions should get you there.

As I recall installing DP8 removed the Reverse destructive plugin from DP7. ...he may be referring to that.

I vaguely recall that as well. It's possible I dragged it in from another install and forgot that I did that.

Just wondering. Is there a way to assign a key command to (apply plug in). It would make workflow quicker. Maybe in D.P. 9?

thanks,

Yes. It's available in the commands window.

Setup>Commands

In the search field type apply and you'll see it.
