Error message on bounce (DP 5.13)

Post by npatton »

Hey, everyone,
Still on DP 5.13. Trying to bounce two audio tracks (1 mono, 1 stereo) + aux track and Master Fader, and getting the following error message:

Digital Performer has encountered an error.
Mas, 1 error reported by Core Audio Export Plugin/Core Audio support code:
/Users/dpdev/AutoBuild/DP/DP5_13x_Branch/MAS/Plug [-35]

I've trashed prefs, and even reinstalled DP 5.11 and the subsequent upgrades and the problem persists.

I did recently have the logic board in my MB Pro replaced, but not sure if this is related or not.

Thanks for your time!

Apparently, this is some kind of operator error on my part, although I'm not sure what. Old projects bounce fine, new test projects bounce fine, just the projects I created for this one client are not. I had recently changed my resolution settings for another client who wanted 24/96 wav files, but something apparently reset partially when I went to make these tracks.

Everything new I create is bouncing fine. Hope I don't recreate this problem again...

I was creating file names that were too long. That's it. I shortened the file names for the bounced tracks and all started working again.

Sheesh...

Aaah. Not the file name length. I was including a / symbol in the name. (These are all mixes of piano and voice, as oppose to some larger mixes. I had "P/V" after each file name.)

Double Sheesh...
