What happens if I participate to the Group Buy but don't buy anything at the end?

Our experience shows that most subscribers do purchase the product they committed to buy as they subscribed to one of our Group Buy actions. We won't blacklist names, emails, IP addresses, etc, as mentioned in our previous FAQ. We actually never did blacklist anyone as we hate such power trips !!! That amendment was simply there following some old manufacturers request that were concerned about the fact that users could subscribe under dozens of names just to pull prices down. So we do monitor IP addresses to avoid such abusive subscriptions but nothing more...

At the end, we simply count on our customers loyalty and we have never been disappointed up to now. But Please do note that while customer discounts are related to the amount of subscribers to the Group Buy, OUR cost price is directly related to real sales ! It is therefore US at DontCrack that plays the most delicate part of the game... So if you do commit in buying a product during one of our attractive group buys, please be loyal and do it in full consciousness!

Here's some complementary information concerning eventual license transfers :

Yes, all licenses sold during what ever promotion we run are always transferable as if you had bought the product at full price from the manufacturers site. That is part of the deal we negotiate with our partners as we'll never sale "limited" products either... These are simply full products !

Nevertheless, Sonnox uses a single activation code to authorize all plugins that are part of a bundle. Customers can therefore not resale any individual plugins that are part of a particular bundle !

Of course, Sonnox's usual terms and conditions for transfer must be met :

Dear friends,

We have sent user feedback to Sonnox and did try to negotiate a higher discount if we reached 500 subscribers but they didn't follow-up on that and that was totally predictable as we signed strict agreements with them some time ago. Sonnox don't do things with a simple shake in the hand...

Also we just cleaned the subscribers database and found some invalid email addresses, duplicates, and other issues that bring the real subscribers down to 352 as I'm writing this post but still 2 days to go

We're still way over 300 and all subscribers will receive a voucher coupon on monday 14 with rounded +50% discount which is simply a great value for such high quality products...

You guys know we struggle hard to bring great offers but at some point we must comply to the agreements we sign with our partners... That is the only way to go to do long term business and bring more incredible deals to you...

I also want to thank all of you for the great feedback and for spreading the word around. You guys and girls played the game from the very beginning of this Group Buy venture where we only had 20% discount to offer and that shows how much you believe in what we do. That makes us very proud and want to work even harder to bring more exiting offers to the audio community...
