Stuck with lasso tool in pitch correction

I've been happily using DP's pitch correction for years.
Now I have one project where DP's pitch correction no longer allows me to move the note blocks.
The tool seems stuck in lasso mode.
I can select blocks etc. but cannot move them.
I can't get the tool to be anything other than the lasso.

When I open other projects, I'm back to normal and it works fine.

Is there something I can do to get it working again in this project?

Might pitch control be bypassed on the track(s)?
This is accessed with the little 'P' button below the track's vertical scroll bar, or in the track settings mini menu, in the sequence edit window.

Yes! That was the problem.
I didn't even know that button existed.
