Re: Any word on DP10.1 update?

This is something we addressed for 10.11 specifically in the latest DP maintenance update. 10.11? Weird. A typo clearly. And weird that it, in fact, was not addressed in .01 - at least not so it fixed it for us. Yes, April 22 is the date of what I downloaded. I wonder if there’s a difference betwee...

Any word on DP10.1 update?

Dix, it is an El Cap thing. I have a TechLink in and received this reply... “Buzzy, This is something we addressed for 10.11 specifically in the latest DP maintenance update. I would download and install if you haven't already from motu.com/download.” So, I went back to MOTU, thinking that maybe the...

Re: I can't find High Sierra. I need to install it.

I just went through this. Don"t hold me to it, but I think I had to install Sierra first and then High Sierra.

As far as I can go unless I install a Metal compatible video card that Mojave requires.

Hope it helps!

Re: my first day with dp10

Somewhat o/t (what else is nu?) ...which has me wondering... In Finale, when things get a little "flaky" you can hit cmd-d to redraw the screen. I wonder if DP might benefit from a similar command, where you can simply redraw the screen and how much "disappearing" stuff might ju...

Re: my first day with dp10

Dave, if you bump your machine to 5,1 status, you could also drop two hex CPUs in (3.33GHz for about $100 total) to really hotrod your machine. However, as you have a 2009 Dual Cpu, the CPU upgrade is more complicated than a 2010/2012 dual or 2009/2010/2012 single. Lots of info available; let me kn...

Re: my first day with dp10

I have a 2009 MacPro, too.

With help from MotuNation friends, I flashed the firmware to 5,1.

On a second drive I have Sierra running just fine when it’s chosen as the startup.

I have 10.11.6 on my primary drive.

Weird that Core Audio WAVE is on my system when it isn’t on others’.
Just checked again with DP 10.

All Core Audio exports are available.

Re: Ack! what happened to the "Core Audio: Wave" option?!

Ok, this is weird: CORE Audio Export: WAVE (.wav) shows up twice in my output list for DP 10. None of the Core Audio export types show up in DP 9.52 anymore. Dang! Had to look just now. Core Audio Export: WAVE option is gone from my system, too, with 9.52. I am also running the trial version of DP ...

Re: DP 9 not loading autosave files

Not at the computer right now, but there's a setting within DP that allows you to select what DP does upon launch.

You may have accidentally opted for the "opening window".

Probably under the DP preferences menu.

Re: Melodyne Editor versus DP with ZTX

DP's transposition down left the tracks a bit "lifeless"...like a formant change or a huge cut around 3K. (Guessing, here.) Which DP algorithm did you use? HC, I'll have to open the project to double check. I'm guessing (again) the default one which has worked great 95% of the time. And i...

Melodyne Editor versus DP with ZTX

I've been, generally, very pleased with the recent pitch and time manipulation that DP has employed. However, I'm working on a big band project with live brass and reeds. Separate tracks...Trumpet 1, Trumpet 2...everyone recorded individually. No bleed. The client wants the final in E but I recorded...

Re: Direct Hardware Monitoring in DP

Which reminds me... Would I hear a significant conversion difference with a newer MOTU interface (like the 16A) over my current 24I/O? Buzzy /quote] That's certainly my experience. Cool. I'm gonna order one since I don't really need 24 TRS inputs anymore. Always returnable! Buzzy Sent from my iPad ...
