I just had my 828mk3 replaced.
They even went out of their way to ship it via post so I didn't have to deal with the UPS cross board nightmare.

I've used an iPad app for manipulating voices with some pretty good results.
Don't know what the app was off hand though.

Maybe I have heard them just haven't been close enough to see them.

its got a lot of nice options not sure I would use it for tracking but the price is good.
