As long as we are workin' in 32 bit float, and sending the 32bit float mix to mastering, there is no reason at all for us to go anywhere near '0'. Takes all the worry out of it. Easy peasy. (And most of the major mastering peeps MUCH prefer 32bit float for the deliverable to them.)

One thing we discovered many moons ago, is that each time that happens, we will hit cmd period. (which usually cancels the task). IN this case, it finishes it. With no seeming ill affects.

I have found Spilt EQ to be quite something special. Has replaced all our non-colored EQs. Excels at shaping cause of the separation into transient and tonal. I have seen that with certain themes. Switch to some differnent ones and see if another alters it for you.

We use 10 window sets here. They are superb for not only closing plugin windows, but anything else which may have been moved. Use them all day long for a reset.
