Have I made a mistake buying BPM 1.5?
I do know one thing for sure about BPM, the sound quality is PRO!!! These R&B hits and snares will crack your face off in a mix! I have not heard any Urban Sampler, aside from the $3000 MPC, that delivers such punch and clarity in a track right out of the box. While it's workflow leaves a lot to...

Location of Stock Apple AU Plugs
I was going to do that to until a friend/producer friend showed me how he uses them. They are actual pretty good. Not sexy looking, but good! The Pitch plug actual transposes audio better then DP's built in feature. I use it all the time now to transpose audio tracks when neede. Try it and see... Yo...

The standard way would be to get a dedicated A/B box that you can effortlessly switch from source to source. Buy if you are sold on doing it through the MOTU box, you could just use another stereo pair of outputs to speakers "B" and select that as the output on your "Master" bus ...

Putting DP audio click in mixer?
Double click on the the METRONOME icon and it will take you to the prefs.
Once there, select the Click Output to an Aux bus.
Add an AUX trax and select that identical bus as the input and BAM!
Hope this helps.
Also, See DP7/6 Manual page 209/207

I have an old Mexican Strat that had an amazing Maple neck... So I put Area 58's in it and now it sounds amazing!!! I have a Les Paul Standard, a Gretsch and an old Hamer Chapperelle and the Strat wins everytime!!! You can't go wrong with a good Strat... However, a Tele is AMAZING in the studio and ...

Click track and stereo mix for live theatre performance
(I know you mentioned a computer isn't possible... But not sure why? Is it illegal or something there... The reason I ask is because I had the same problem as you until we realized how reliable MacBooks were...see below) We use stereo click tracks every weekend at my church and I have found that the...

no brainer AAS VS-1 $20!!
I bought it. Can't resist any decent plugin under $50!!! I like it because of not only it's unique sounds, but the fact that it leaves almost no footprint on the processor and ram:)

You could do the "Mac" screen zoom trick.
( 2 fingers on the track pad scrolling while holding either "ctrl" or "alt", can't remember which one exactly but it does work.

partition internal for 100GB of samples?
I don't like using external drives for my Samples because it muddies up the FireWire or USB Bandwidth. I would reserve that for my audio
Interfaces. If you have the option, use separate internal drives.

What is the original and new key? There is a free Apple Pitch plugin that comes free and is already showing up in your plugin list of DP. It actually works great. 100 cents=1 half step If I were you I would just digitally transpose the original track if it's "that good!!" Also, I agree, IM...

I'm am going to be upgrading to a MacPro (currently using iMac dual core 2009) and it seems like all these new options are available.(ie:12 core,6 core) The main reason I want to upgrade is for more Internal Ram, more internal Hard Drives for VI samples (to free up FW Port for 896), and future expan...
