I have a different issue, a live recording with really long audio files, it takes a long time to draw the waveform overview and when closing the project, the overview doesn't seem to be saved and they have to be drawn again (which takes 10-15 minutes).

The 828 doesn't have word clock in, it's optical in works, can I run an optical cable from the 2408 and clock the 828 from that?

Please enlighten me, I never understood what the null tests are supposed to prove? That DAWs sound the same when everything is set to unity? I don't know about you but I very rarely get a mix done with everything set to unity...

I have already done that. And some projects load fine.
There's also an issue that patches/instruments load fine but if I disable an articulation and try to load it again I get error messages...

Disabled PLAY in the preferences allowed be to at least open the project...
