Re: Attn: Chris and/or MOTU - please fix BSOD in driver
Turns out my crash issue (at least on Win 7) is due to an NVIDIA driver, Nvlddkm.sys, installed by version 306.23 of the NVIDIA graphics drivers for my card. I just installed these drivers over the weekend- just coincidence I installed the PCIe-424 the same week. Haven't looked into the Win 8 crash ...

Re: Attn: Chris and/or MOTU - please fix BSOD in driver
This may be a dumb question, but why are you guys not raising a Techlink with MOTU tech support? It's fine to let the community here know that you have a problem, but MOTU does have a process set up for logging technical problems. Because without Windbg I haven't seen any data linking the crashes t...

Does your PCIe-424 fit well in your PC?
I've got the PCIe-424/24I/O combo and I had a heck of a time getting the card to fit right in my PC. I've previously had a soundblaster and a firewire card in that slot, so I don't think it's an issue with my motherboard or case. But if I put the card so all the pins are properly inserted into the P...

Re: Attn: Chris and/or MOTU - please fix BSOD in driver
Hmm. I just got a PCIe 424 system last week and started getting blue screens in both Win 8 and Win 7. It only happens at system startup, sometimes I don't even notice because Windows just reboots again and works the second time, but I'll get these notices once I log on to Windows that it just recove...

Re: CueMix FX for pci 424 users
So what was the answer? I too am missing the tabs in CueMix FX 1.6. But if you read here in this thread, clearly nobody has answered the first question....what gives? How do you get to it? is there a workaround? I'm not able to get to the DSP portion of the "nice" pcie-424. Please help. T...

Re: Is my FireWire UltraLite-mk3 underperforming?
I am using 96 samples on my MK3 Hybrid without any issues, have run it lower as well but saw no point in doing so. It takes around 5 seconds to start. You must have some issue with drivers or the firewire ports on your mainboard. Using my Asus built in Firewire ports. Thanks. That's very odd that o...

Is my FireWire UltraLite-mk3 underperforming?
I've had my FireWire-only UltraLite-mk3 since 2010, and I haven't had too many issues with it other than occasional squeaks/squeals during playback- maybe once or twice a week. Thing is, I've never been able to use the UltraLite reliably at anything less than 512 samples; any lower and the squeals g...

Frequent MIDI Freezes with Micro Lite?
For the past few weeks when I've been working in Cubase, I'd run into cases where I could press keys on my MIDI controller and no MIDI activity would occur (no sound, no MIDI indicators in Cubase). It would last about 7-10 seconds, and then suddenly MIDI would work again. I'd hit the problem about e...

I hope so. I haven't upgraded to the Win 7 driver yet, but I have gotten a couple of blue screens under Win 7 running the Vista drivers. Will probably upgrade this weekend. Glad it worked out for you!kazaamblam wrote:UltimateOutsider wrote:Now lets find out if the driver is any better than the vista one!

ok.. yeah you're right, I installed shockwave and that didn't help although on the lst install, it definatley came up with a window saying that shickwave was required for the install). Here's the message: That message doesn't have anything to do with shockwave... it's trying to launch a local appli...

Re: NEW STICKY FOR DRIVER DOWNLOADS!!
Hi, I don't understand what this thread is about; is this to track older versions of the MOTU drivers than the ones available from the official site? I'm looking into this because when my new 500GB arrives I'm going to be installing both Win 7 32-bit and 64-bit in separate partitions, and I want to ...
