You are the best, rocketship-in-moon-eye man! :-D

I'll crack the manual open during lunch.

Thanks!

Setting Main Counter to Note Position

Hi Folks,

Is there a simple way to point to (highlight) a note -- say in MIDI editing mode -- and have the main counter automatically set to that number?

For a number of reasons I always seem to be having to type that exact note bar/beat/tick number out -- which is a pain.

Thanks,

Yes, I agree with you -- it would be easiest to just fix it. I spent a little more time with this last night and I too think the ranges are simply not wide enough. They may be ok for a high school group, but certainly not professional, and that's motu's market. Also, although it's a workaround, the ...

For the $$, SI is amazing.

As for the ranges, if I need a note outside a given range I just use a pitchbend for that note or passage

Thanks, I'll put that on my wish list! What I'm doing is puttering around with the mac mini just to get the overall feel of dp 4.6 w/SI. Man, it's just amazing for the money. In a few months or so I'll pop for a high-end system, when I know exactly what I want. I'll put that screen on the list. I've...

lol, thank you Geoff!

Yeah, I'll try a few things, thanks for the tips.

I think you told me what I need to know...can't do it. I've been using non-digital performer for 20 years now on old b/w screens and loving it. Oh well...

I'll add it to my list of suggestions.

Thanks guys!

Colors/Shading for Control Panel

Hi Folks, I'm a new DP 4.61 user, running it on a mac mini attached to some old color motor I had sitting around. (I have a bunch of old montors and picked the best one -- it works great) It looks good, but I can't find info on how to change colors and shading on the Control Panel. Now the Tracks, M...
