Re: new Leslie sim from PSP
...There's a particular frequency at which a real Leslie's horn "whistles" and PSP L'otary is pretty close. My point exactly. And that's what always got me off all the other emulations. Amplitube was the closest but indeed the lack of option was a drawback. That said, out of all the rotar...

Re: new Leslie sim from PSP
I did took it for a spin, and I have to admit that this might be IT. There's a whole bunch of options for tweaking but when you first start it up, it ALREADY sounds great. The only cons I see at first is a pretty sterile GUI. It would have been nice to have some graphic representation of the control...

Re: CD out to duplication house. Over 700MB
Thanks MLC Mike, Like I said my file is 67mins long which is way under the 74min limit. I did ask another Duplication house and they say only the 74min limit is important. I also found this over at Gearslutz: Red Book CD Audio really has nothing whatsoever to do with file size, because there are no ...

Re: CD out to duplication house. Over 700MB
That's what I did but I got the same Over 700MB reply.
I guess I'm wondering why are they saying that a 74 mins CD is 650MB if 74mins of 44/16 audio=783MB???

CD out to duplication house. Over 700MB
Hi Guys.
I have a 67mins DDP file that's larger than 700MB. Now the duplication house stresses me saying that it has to be under 700. But I have no clue how to do that. My files are 44.1/16 and it passes the Redbook validation.
I thought the only thing that mattered for a CD was the Time Duration?

Re: Cursor snap to measures
Ditto Tim
The only problem is that DP seems to be so fast that you have to hit the key command blazingly fast to go backwards.

Re: Searching for a High Quality Virtual B3
The Leslie is part of Amplitube's 3 Bundle It's pretty straight forward in DP: You put it as an insert on your B3 VI's track. Then Amplitube 3 will show as a MIDI destination so you can control the speed. I usually create a MIDI device group so I can play both the organ AND the leslie with a single ...

Re: Searching for a High Quality Virtual B3
gsi VB3 is still the top contender in terms of top quality. But it is 32Bit and has had a "not-so-stable-with-DP" reputation through the years. Personally I strongly think that most of the B3 emulations will get the job done pretty good if used alongside Amplitube's Excellent Leslie Emulat...

Re: MIDI Piano recording double of every message...?
...If you find it, I'd appreciate knowing about where to look for it, as I'm sure my eyes are just jumping over it for some reason. I KNOW it used to be there. But I went through every menu a few times and just didn't see it. Maybe I should have looked it up in the manual. Shoosh Region/Apply MIDI ...

Using multi-record MIDI mode can also help overcoming MIDI feedback issues.

Re: Mackie Control (Grey/MIDI one) with Yosemite/DP8?
My Mackie Ctl and 3 extenders have been happy with DP8 since it's been out.
My first Gen "Logic Control" has been the most reliable of my 4 Mackie units... FWIW

Re: Same Logic feature on DP?
Look up the manual for MIDI devices groups. It allows MIDI multi routing and such. Hope it can help you.
