Hi folks-- Noob here. I'm converting bounced tracks to .MP3s (LAME encoder 3.95.1), which I intend to use as demos on a website. However, the resulting .MP3s are very quiet--I've got to crank up the computer's speakers and volume settings just to hear them. As a quick fix I used the Dynamics plug-in...

I'm so wet behind the ears I don't even know what to use that plug-in for yet--but while I was just running through what's available, Buffy crashed DP. None of the other plug-ins--just that one.

Yeah...it's going to take me awhile to get back into the "not all connections require wires" way of thinking. Thanks for responding!

You know the bit in Audio MIDI setup where you drag the MIDI in to the MIDI out and vice versa for each device?

I've gone over all three manuals (2 for DP and 1 for 828), unsuccessfully searched the forums, and tested the hardware in Audio MIDI setup. The mkII definitely generates MIDI out traffic that can be received by the Karma. And DP will receive MIDI in traffic from my Karma. But I can't get DP to play ...
