I posted a thread a while back about DP MIDI plug ins. The Manual clearly states that MIDI plug-ins are being developed by third parties and MOTU, but in this lifetime I have yet to find one that doesn't ship with the installation disk. BTW, MOTU says new Unisyn profiles are also being developed. I ...

How did you do this- I didn't think that the universal binary version of DP 5 was out yet. Did you run it under Rosetta?

If the sound comes out of a loudspeaker, it's "electronic" music.

You know, I re-read the docs on the MOTU site and it looks like the 1.07 firmware update may be Intel only. I'm not sure about this, and the description (which I read many times) is simply not clear about this. Anyone, is the Traveler firewire 1.07 update Intel only?

There are quite a few articles and remedies about this problem on Macfixit.com. Luckily I have not had this problem. I hope this helps.

OK- Now has anyone actually been running DP5 on a PB? I have been running 4.61 on a PB 1.67 with 2 gigs of RAM with perfectly good results (not what I'd call "Blazing", but perfectly acceptable). I set my buffers almost as high as I can set them, as latency is not an issue with me. I suspe...

I find in addition to patch thru I also have to select coreMIDI for the least delay, and then select a track with a MIDI device on an output bus and then record enable that track. Whatever device is on that track and its patch selected will play. Anyone know of a simpler way?

Newsflash! Microsoft has just released a beta program that will allow BASIC and Windows Vista to dual boot on a Timex-Sinclair, thus enabling Bootcamp to run Universal Binary-provided you do the 14k upgrade.

To my knowledge, it is not possible to edit instrument profiles in any way. Unisyn is one of the biggest dissapointments I have ever encountered, and if you read some of the other comments in this forum I think you will see that I am not alone.
