Sequence Editor - too much scrolling involved

Love using the sequence editor for editing rather than the MIDI editor. However, when I double click on a track in the Tracks Overview to open it in the SE, it often doesn't centre the notes in the window, and so I'm forced to scroll the little keyboard to get at the notes to edit them. This happens...

Re: All AU plugins are missing

Hi-

Yes its a disgrace that Apple let this bug through, and seem to have no urgency to fix it. I had to literally go back in Time Machine to just before I installed the update and reinstall the whole system..Time Machine can do it.

Re: Warning from MOTU - iOS 13 ‘patch’ for 10.11 and 10.12.

Sorry for the radio silence..been a busy weekend. As I understand it, as I mentioned it’s only an issue with 10.11 and 10.12. High Sierra etc is fine. Time Machine - you need to revert the whole system to the time before you clicked on that upgrade, not just DP. The only other solution is to upgrade...

Warning from MOTU - iOS 13 ‘patch’ for 10.11 and 10.12.

I posted earlier today that DP could not see my AU plugins anymore. I wrote to tech support and they got back to me very quickly. If you use Mac OS 10.11 or 10.12 and plug an iPhone/iPad that has already been upgraded to ios13 into your Mac, you will get a message from Apple saying you need to insta...

Re: AU PlugIns Gone Missing

This is too weird: http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=66767 Sorry I don't have an explanation, but I think it benefits us all to get to the bottom of it. to add after reading the post... -the plugins are all in the (components) folder, DP just doesn't see them. Nothing has been...

AU PlugIns Gone Missing

So...opened up DP 10 (Mac 10.11) this morning, having changed nothing since last using it, and it didn't load any audio units. After troubleshooting including searching here and trashing the suggested prefs etc, I feel DP literally does not see the components folder, so it isn't loading ANY audio un...

I’ve been using the Airturn in conjunction with ForScore on my iPad for a couple of years. EZ and works great.

Re: Spontaneous restart

Just had the latest restart and I have now removed the two old RAM sticks. All that's in there are two brand new 2gig ones. I dont know if it matters which board they are on, but I put them where the original two sticks that came with the mac were. Let's see what happens..... Good luck Gav. You sou...

Re: Spontaneous restart

I had this problem for 18 months. Things I tried were - removing startup apps - booting up in safe mode - unplugging every peripheral and adding them back one by one - used built in audio instead of MOTU PCI - reset PSU (and changed power cable) - reset PRAM - tested every stick of RAM multiple time...

Re: DP Users should hold off on High Sierra (9/18/17)

So I upgraded to HS from El Capitan, and then proceeded to spend 6-8 hours trying to get my Mac to boot again. (yes, I had a backup but even getting access to that was funky). Needless to say, I'm back on El Capitan. I guess I could try a clean install on a spare drive, its only for a couple of piec...

Re: Recommendations for keyboard exercises?

I agree with the idea of not doing too many exercises, you may as well try to make music. I had lessons from Terry Trotter a few years back..he would get me to do one or two exercises, usually Behringer or Brahms, some Bach, some Mikrokosmos, and some standards. Also, have a look at this website htt...
