The Manual for DP exists only on paper. It would be best to have someone show you what it can do. DP's audio layout is somewhat similar to PT, more than Cubase I think. So going from PT to DP shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, you can clear pitch information for the selected bite using the "clear pitch" command from the "audio/audio pitch correction" menu. It will then default to the original pitch scan.

I use 48kHz only for television projects where they use that as standard sampling rate.
