Re: Does DP 8.07 play nicely with OS 10.10?

If you are using up to date plugs and VIs there should be no problems. Older plugs and libraries may have issues and there are many threads on this. DP 9 isn't quite where MOTU has promised. For most of us, there are no problems; for some of us, there are. Some of the features and fixes have been p...

Re: Does DP 8.07 play nicely with OS 10.10?

El Capitan has been pretty good for me. I was beginning to have serious problems in Yosemite, and El Capitan fixed those things. I forget now what they were, but I left some posts here in the forum that probably elaborate on that. The major things that broke, for me, were MenuMeters and Adobe Illus...

Re: Does DP 8.07 play nicely with OS 10.10?

Thanks Mike.

And out of those, how's the OS working in general? Would you stick to 10.10? Presuming 10.11 still too fresh? Hate upgrading OS and versions of DP!

Does DP 8.07 play nicely with OS 10.10?

Hi guys. Been using DP 8.07 with OS 10.8.5. Various plug-ins, etc, wanting to move up to to 10.9 now, but i've heard bad things. What's the recommendation for OS of choice now? 10.10? 10.11? Also, is DP 9 playing rock solid yet? (have been reading through eveybody's comments) Or stick to 8.07 for a ...

Re: New 3.1 Software Available for Raven MTi2 DP

I still have my Raven sitting in its box from November. Nearly finished these soundtracks, then can't wait to get playing and see what it does!

Re: How to move multiple tracks?

sorry if someone's already answered this, but to move multiple tracks out of a folder and then to the bottom of the TO window. ... cmd select the tracks inside the folder and the conductor track; then hit ⇧⌥↖ to bring together at the top of the TO. Then cmd deselect the conductor track (leaving the...

Re: How to move multiple tracks?

Completely agree re: commands. HOWEVER, commands won't fix this problem. Just checked, and sure enough it only moves tracks to the bottom of the group that it's in. I can't find a way to move one (or several) tracks down to bottom of whole window, or indeed to "move together" going downwar...

Re: Multi MIDI bouncing

You can either do 3 separate freezes, or:

set the 3 MIDI instruments outputs to different AUX outs. create 3 new stereo tracks, with the input on each set to the respective AUX outs. Then hit record.

Re: Computer question.

i got my 2009 12 core pimped up with new motherboard, etc, for $1500 all in - top of the range, ssd drives, etc. Was dubious at first, but as fats as trashcan. Only thing it doesn't have is thunderbolt, but that doesn't bother me.

Just before you throw your money away...

Re: How to move multiple tracks?

OK, unfortunately the move to the bottom and then back up trick won't work. As it only moves tracks to the bottom of the track folder they're in, rather than to the bottom of the whole sequence.

Any more ideas?

Re: Wow! The new Track Search and Filter are A-MA-ZING!!!

I'm SOOOOO excited for this. Am still on DP 8.07, but come May at the end of this series I'm going to be updating just for this function. 400+ tracks and my eyes are starting to go weird  GREAT stuff MOTU!

Tip: Cure for fixing Stuck notes in VE Pro

For some weird reason stuck notes have come back (in DP 8.07) using VE Pro and slave macs. Notes would stop when I stopped, but then start again if I rewound to start of sequence, even though the note shouldn't have been playing. (Event chasing, etc, all properly set). All set to run in real time (r...

Re: How to move multiple tracks?

highlight all the tracks you want to move in the tracks window (shift T) right click on these tracks, or if you can't right click, control-click the tracks, and choose... "Move Selected Tracks" then choose from the five choices. :) Thanks for this Dan. Didn't know you could do this with m...

How to move multiple tracks?

Say I have 8 tracks towards in my track overview window (think that's what it's called!), which I want to move higher up in the window. (e.g. above 40 other tracks). Is there a way to move multiple tracks together, rather than one by one? I know the command for moving one track up the window, or &qu...
