Phew! I had felt so bad about my input on this "3rd party" issue that I'd deleted most of what I'd written. (There was another thread somewhere too...) I know none of us means any harm, and I'm sure I did all I could to be fair and polite. :) However, Brad appears to have been offended and...

mikebeckmotu and shooshie , I really am sorry; I didn't mean to waste time or belittle anyone. :oops: FWIW, I run in fear when I hear the words "iLock", "Pace", "Synchrosoft" etc, so I empathise. mikebeckmotu , I hope CSR works out for you; maybe now's the time? :wink:

mjwever wrote Some sessions have some Autotune & Machfive 1.2.3 but others don't & there are no other plugs running! Plugs running is one thing, but have you tried a reduced (read: safe) set of plugs? DP's still gotta load 'em, they're chewing up RAM and one or two of them may be inefficien...

Shooshie wrote I'm going to have to give this audio-to-MIDI thing a try, and once I learn the limitations of it, I'll add it to the tips sheet. Yaaay! Wring its neck! Rev it out! Push that sucker! 8) It's difficult to believe I haven't thought of trying this; it's just so obvious, MOTU would have b...

That Gatton did have some steaks, didn't he? He had steaks like you have taste, mate. Lots and lots of beef there. :lol: Melody-wise I'm just not sure he's an Iron Chef yet! This is a good thing for we mere mortals, as steaks like his can be more than our sensitive little stomachs can handle.... :w...

I like amplidood's suggestion to.... "Move all your Audio Units plugins (the "components" folder) into a "AU disabled" folder to let DP start up clean the first time." 'Tis the only way I've been able to get Big Tick's CheezeMachine to work since DP4.0: Trash MOTU AU Ex...

G'Day Joey

library->audio->plugins-> MAS.
That's the "library" folder at the root level of your boot drive. 8)
If you've installed DP, the MAS folder will be there! Trust me. :wink:

Good Luck ...
