SAC 2.2 keeps dropping out of touch!
Is there some setting I missing here? When I use my SAC 2.2 in touch record it will intermittently drop out of record while my finger is still on the fader. It only happens sometimes but it happens enough that I've had to use latch instead of touch.

OK, this is like the brute force approach <grin> but if you select the beginning and end of the sequence and then use merge soundbites, then it will of course create one new continuous sound bite... Also may free up some cpu and sometimes seems to help prevent those little hiccups I can get on edit...

at least setting user time stamps can correct any bumps... Time to write MOTU for a feature request. Hi Frodo, Thanks for the response. The problem with using time stamps is if the SB is used in more than one place in the seq. The timestamp can only refer to one location. However, even so I guess t...

Is there a way to lock soundbites to the track?
I'm working in the sound for a movie and it would be nice if I could avoid accidentally moving a soundbite out of sync. Is there a way of locking it to the track? If not, is there some work-around?
Thanks,

I used stuffit deluxe. Is there anything I can do if there is a recource fork problem? If that's the problem then no, I don't think there's a solution. As I understand it, the file corruption occurs when the file is zipped. Sorry. I hope I'm wrong. Since I don't have stuffit I did a little test of ...

Re: DP training on your iPod.....
OK, I'm trying reeeal hard not to be cynical, and in concept, this is kind of a cool idea.....but really......how can you possibly see well enough on an iPod screen to get anything from a DP Podcast tutorial? Hell, sometimes I have trouble reading the text on the tracks window on my 20" Cinema...

Re: Who's using Elemental Audio's InspectorXL on their MacIn
I'm still creepin' along on my G4 MDD Dual 1.25 but am interested in hearing any experiences you may have had using Elemental Audio's UB Beta of InspectorXL. I'd just like to know if the plug-in will still be useful when I move to an Intel Mac. I certainly will NOT "upgrade" to the Roger ...

Re: Using DP 4.6 on a Mac Pro (Intel)
Hello, If I purchase a Mac Pro, what kind of issues can i expect if I run 4.6? I know its not universal, but if I upgrade to 5.1, i'm afraid my plug-ins that are not universal wont work (specifically Altiverb 5). I dont know much about this, but I read somewhere that i CAN run 4.6 but it just wont ...

>all faders to zero? >-I can't figure out how to zero all faders quickly Cntrl-Click on the fader to zero it. I'm guessing that if you turn the 'all' group on then cntrl-click on a fader it will zero them all. Either that or create a new mix. You can hold down the W key to temporarily group all vis...
