Re: izotope RX2 inside DP
in my situation the end of the files I was working on was off screen. I guess what I'm thinking is I wish I could figure out a way that the new file would be re-inserted with a cross fade with my designations applied. One less mouse click.

Live room(s) B & G
As a Bass player I decided to really give this one a go and I must say it's not bad But I am hoping they will give us a few more options. I am curious if those guitarist have any thoughts. You can get a pretty realistic room sound by tweaking the delay and the output of cabinet. It seems to emulate ...

Re: izotope RX2 inside DP
Thanks. I gotta kill some nasty 60 cycle huuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm. I did not have exact 60 Hz trouble but it work stellar getting rid of some crazy noise introduced from recording a live piano I really wish there was a monitor preview as was stated its "Hard to dial in". I experimented outsid...

Re: Using a preamp before microbook for bass?
I run the bass through the original Radial JDI passive DI for bass, and then into a RNP/RNC. This is left over from when I ran everything into an analog mixer before the converters. The thread prompts me to see whether I should just plug the bass directly into the 828 Mic input and then make use of...

Re: Using a preamp before microbook for bass?
One of these days I am going to take my rig to include a Radial or Sansamp but have not had the time to to do the research. Tape-op must have a shoot out in there somewhere in the archives to start with. Could not stand their amp but I had really good success with a Line-6 preamp on the amp

Re: Using a preamp before microbook for bass?
As a Bass player I record through my UA Solo-610 which I use for vocals. I really think something like the Radial will give you a better signal than dry. I have done it both ways and the old adage "get it right going in" applies. It does make a difference in my opinion.

Re: 35 minutes for file to load.
Is it possible that it's re-analyzing audio when starting up. I had to shut everything off to get large audio files to load in reasonable time

Re: More praise for Groove 3
Hey Jim, It never fails that I learn about something new here. Egnater amps. I have to ask how you came across these. As a Bassist I somewhat keep up on the "new" market but never have I come across this. Looks really cool, and not to highjack the thread I have gone back to all the differe...

Re: What 3 things about DP 8 annoy you the most?
Only got one off the top of my head that qualifies for "annoy": That in the Sequence Editor audio tracks, the cursor changes from "edge edit" to "time stretch" within a few pixels. Cannot count the undos I've had to do because of this. Time stretch should require a mod...
