Probably not super helpful to you, but Claro (AU) works perfectly on my Intel Mac, with Monterey 12.4.

Re: DP 11.21 Released
The only way I know of to have instrument tracks without MIDI attached is a V-Rack. I noticed the other day that if you drag a V-Rack of virtual instruments into the tracks overview, it creates the instrument tracks with no MIDI, like it used to be. You have to use the run command to make them the ...

Re: 8Dio Flash Sale - Anthology Strings $35, Majestica 2.0 $65 (with Coupon Code)
I have Anthology Strings and I can confirm they have pizzicato. It's a really nice, smooth set too, one of my favorites.stubbsonic wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 6:23 pm James, I'm certain I heard pizzicato in the Anthology demo.
Overall it's an excellent string library.. the ensembles are incredibly playable. $50 is a steal.

Re: Two CCs showing up on one Edit Layer
The workaround is to select the MIDI track and export it as a MIDI file. Then go get the export, drag it into the Tracks Overview. Turn off or delete the old track. The new track will behave normally. The export "strips off" the thing causing the problem, apparently. But with the newest v...

Re: IRCAM TS2
I feel like this is getting to be a tradition. DontCrack is having a sale on IRCAM TS2 (great pitch & time software). It's $50 thru Jan 18, 2023. https://store.dontcrack.com/product_info.php?products_id=1680 Good catch, thanks for that! I've been missing the sales on this app for years, finally...

Re: MachFive No More
It was my go to for old sample libraries. It read anything. Can anyone suggest a good replacement? Falcon. I used MachFive for many years to record and build my own sample libraries, as well as compiling libraries from my old Akai and Emu samplers.. like you wrote, MachFive read everything. I got U...

Re: Exporting MIDI tracks playing device groups
Yeah, we have that MIDI/audio consistency thing in DP. I love it, but in this case it's kind of a kludge because who would ever want to export a file that did that? Not a big deal, because you can use the above fix.. but I can see how it could stump some poor DP user, as there's no visual way to kno...

Exporting MIDI tracks playing device groups
I have a single MIDI track playing a device group on its output, let's say 12 virtual instruments, each assigned to channel 1 of the instrument. If I export that single track as a MIDI file, and then import it into another document, the track has the problem of being composed of 12 stacked notes, on...

Re: Two CCs showing up on one Edit Layer
I reported this bug months ago to MOTU, and also here. Several DP releases since, but no fix yet. If you record a MIDI track from any input channel other than channel 1 you will get this problem, and there may be other causes as well. And it isn't just a ghost CC, it really will "fight" th...

Re: MacOS 12.61 AND MacOS 13 Ventura dropped today!
I’ve been known to wait a year or more—not in a hurry in any case. Nothing compelling in Ventura yet. That's the way it's been here for years.. over several OS updates. I never see any new features that could even remotely make it worth all the damage it will likely do to my system. When I see a ne...

Re: Mastering and ABing in DP
I got it on sale. Right now it's $199 so it's very expensive for what it does, but it usually does go on sale. A lot of those Plugin Alliance plugs go on sale for $29.99 or so. There is a free 14 day demo, so I don't know if that's enough time for you to check it out. Thanks for the reminder, I for...

Re: Mastering and ABing in DP
You could apply the plugins directly to the track that has the mix, instead of to the master fader, and A/B with the reference track as you would any two tracks (both set to the main outputs). That's what I do. If your faders are set to unity, you don't really need a master fader at all,.. but if yo...
